You may be advised to pause retinoids, strong exfoliating products or other irritating skincare before your appointment. Avoid waxing or other treatments that may leave the skin sensitive immediately before dermaplaning, and follow any preparation instructions provided by your technician.

Your skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oil and surface impurities. A skin oil is then applied to provide slip and support a smooth, comfortable treatment.

Using a sterile dermaplaning blade, your technician carefully glides across the skin in controlled strokes to remove dead surface cells and fine facial hair. Once dermaplaning is complete, recovery balm is applied to calm and hydrate the skin, followed by sunscreen for daytime protection.
